Fly Fishing Team WFFJ - 2010  is formed and planning to attend at the America Cup, which will be held in September , 2010 near Frisco, CO, USA. 

     Fly Fishing Team Japan can invite you as a guest (You do not have to be a Japanese to become a guest.) to become a part of World Fly Fishing Championship and Conservation Symposium.  The details can be seen at Team Japan page.

Fly Fishing Team Japan attended  at the 29th Annual FIPS-Mouche World Fly Fishing Championship and Conservation Symposium 2009 in Scotland. 

Fly Fishing Team Japan attended World Fly Fishing Championship  in Scotland at the end of May, 2009.  We were  leaded by three fantastic fly fishers, Lesley Crawford, Stuart Fraser and his friend, John.  They know how to fish their lake, loch, and river very well.   Thanks for their friendship. 

     Fly Fishing Team Japan in 2009 is supported by AIRFLO and four marbles fly tyers, 
     Mr. Jose Manuel Ruiz Prez, his nick name is Cholo. He is a famous fly tyer in Leon, Spain. He has been Fly Fishing Team Japan tyer for more than three years.  His quority flies are very precious.

     Dr. Leslie Wrixon is a member of WFFJ and Public Relations Committee of WFFJ.  She was an official fly tyer for Team USA 2006 and Fly Fishing Team WFFJ 2006 member for the Club Open in Leon, Spain.   see Leslie's Flies
     Mr. Lawrence Finney lives in Ireland.  WFFJ members met him at the Spring Fly Fishing Show and become friends. He is an excellent fly tyer and he has a keen technicqu of dying feathers.  see Lawrence's Flies
     Mr. Kevin Slater is a member of WFFJ and he was a member of Fly Fishing Team WFFJ 2008 for the first America Cup. He deomostrate his tying at Sawbug Roundup. He is an expart for trout flies. 
     Mr. John Kimura, a member of WFFJ and Fly Fishing Team WFFJ, tyed many quority flies for Fly Fishing Team Japan, 2009.  He uses the speical hooks for us. He is a deonstrate fly tyers in the fly fishing shows in the West Cost of the USA.
     We, WFFJ and Fly Fishing Team Japan, are very appreciative for the support. 

      WFFJ forms Fly Fishing Team WFFJ, which is invited by the clubs in the USA and in Spain.  We are attandeing champioships in these countries.  You do not have to be Japanese to be a part of Fly Fsihing Team WFFJ.  If you are interested in, please become a member of WFFJ.

 We have WFFJ fishing trip and casting clinic in Nagano, Japan with members of Fly Fishing Team Japan. May9 and May 10.  The place where we will stay is at the Start Lines Lodge.

Japanese Fly Fishers including WFFJ Members, JFF Members, and Readers of Fly Fishers are donated so many items to the exhibition called "Made in Japan" at the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum (CFFCM) in the State of New York, the United State of America. 

There was 'Japanese Traditional Fishing' presentation by Dr. Ishigaki, who is an expart of Japanese traditional fishing called 'Tenkara.'  It was held at CFFCM in the afternoon at CFFCM in the afternoon on May 23, 2009.  There were not only Tenkara Power Point Presentation but also actual how to do Tenkara in the river. Some attendees tried Tenkara fishing at there, too.  

Two WFFJ members joined at the Spring Fly Fishing Show in Newark in England on Feb 28 and March 1, 2009. 

WFFJ members instructed fly fishing to children and adults in Texas, USA. on March 7, 2009.  

WFFJ members tyied at the Sowbug Roundup in Arkansas, USA on March 19, 20 and 21, 2009.  

From June 5 to June 12, Fly Fishing Team Japan attended at the FIPS-Mouche World Fly Fishing Championship in Scotland.  Please visit "Team Japan" from the left for the details.
