Stuart Fraser

I have been fishing for as long as I can remember (approx 40 years off and on)  and follow all aspects from still water, river, to sea

My greatest claim to fame was setting up, running and owning Scottish Angler magazine aimed at all fishing in Scotland which run for nearly four years.

Since then and before and after I have written for several magazines such as Stillwater Trout Angler, Total Flyfisher and previously Todays Flyfisher.

I am contributing a weekly column to our local radio station as well as weekly pages in several local and regional newspapers.

I am a  SANA member and have had the pleasure until recently of being the press officer for the organization. I set up the first web site for SANA under the banner of S W I R LS(Scottish Website for International Rivers and Loch Style) fishing before the change over into the new system.

I have reached the finals of the nationals on several occasions and last year obtained my first cap to fish in the SDFFA.

Three years ago I taught my wife to fish and she has since gone on to gain her third cap with the high light gold medal winners in 2008

My pleasure is helping others to enjoy the joys of fly fishing and to promote wild brown trout fishing.
